Pay and dispute prevention

Pay and dispute prevention

Keep up to date on the progress of the gig.

Use the in-house chat to log all communication.

Make the other party aware of any new developments that will impact timeframes or pricing.

Appreciate the difference between poor workmanship and malicious fraud.

While none of us are perfect, appreciate that our standards and skill levels are all different. Disputing payment based on non-satifactory outcome (while the work was completed) is a different story to deliberate fraud.

Try and see the other side of the story. Articulate clearly when you begin to see results you do not like or expect.

ppreciate the time that person had committed to your gig.

Be respectful and behave in a manner with which you would expect yourself.

See gigexchange guidelines for general behaviour and respect.

Contact gigexchange support here if mediation is required prior to disputing through your credit/debit card company.
